The Road2Hope - Hamilton Marathon
The race for 2008 has been set for November 1 & 2. The course could prove to be the fastest Marathon in Canada. The run will be once again on the new “Red Hill Valley Parkway” but DOWN only finishing along the gorgeous waterfront trail into Confederation Park. The details of the exact route are still to be finalized. The 5K & 10K races will be held on Saturday November 1, 2008, and will be held at Confederation Park. The proceeds will go to benefit the two same charities “The Joy & Hope of Haiti” and “City Kidz”. Plan now to attend.

Run for the Toad
Run for the Toad 25k /50k trail run will be held on October 4, 2008. Please note the 25k also has a walking category with a limit of 140 participants -- 106 Walkers have already signed up. The web-site for 2008 should be complete in a couple of weeks www.runforthetoad.com . Signups are over half full with 548 race participants already signed up for the event. Sign up early -- the event has sold out over the last 5 years and last year the Toad was "Sold Out" in May.
